Two people were killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon on Bleich Road near Lone Oak.

McCracken County deputies were called to the intersection of Bleich Road and Elmdale at about 1:30 p.m.

Investigators believe that a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Noah Miller of Paducah was on Elmdale approaching Bleich Road and apparently did not stop at the stop sign. Miller's car went into the path of a pickup driven by 57-year-old Norman Legette of Metropolis.

Miller and his passenger, 71-year-old Beverly Kenney of Paducah, suffered serious injuries and had to be removed from the car. Both were taken to a local hospital where they later passed away from their injuries.

Leggette was treated and released.
