Two women, child perish in Marshall County fire

An early morning fire on Monday at a residence in Marshall County claimed the lives of two women and a child. No names have been released at this time.

The fire occurred in the 3800 block of KY 95 in the Palma area. Fire crews arrived at 2:25 am to a single-wide mobile home where the fire was in progress.

At 4:30 am, a 63-year-old female, a 41-year-old female, and a 3-year-old child were pronounced deceased by Marshall County coroner Kenny Pratt.

The state fire marshal is investigating the scene, and autopsies were ordered in Madisonville.
