Flags across the nation and the commonwealth are to be lowered to half-staff in remembrance of the victims in the tragic shooting in Minneapolis.

President Donald Trump issued a proclamation to that effect on Wednesday, and Governor Andy Beshear followed suit. Flags at all state and federal buildings, as well as at military and diplomatic installations around the world, will fly at half-staff until sunset on Sunday, August 31st.

All businesses and individuals are asked to join in the tribute by flying their flags at half-staff, as well.
