Large marijuana bust in Hardin County

Pounds of marijuana were found during a traffic stop in Elizabethtown Sunday night.

Kentucky State Police had pulled a car over on I-65 for a traffic violation when troopers noticed a strong smell of marijuana.

During a search of the car, troopers found about 17-pounds of marijuana hidden in a duffel bag and the spare tire area of the vehicle's trunk.

The driver, 31-year-old Michael Davis Jr. of Pembroke Pines, CA, was arrested and charged with marijuana trafficking, Failure to or improper signal and more.
