A Webster County man is facing felony charges after allegedly trying to procure a minor online.
Kentucky State Police said 32-year-old Joseph Lee Kellems was arrested on Tuesday after an undercover investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch is said to have found Kellems trying to procure the minor through the Internet. Computer equipment was taken from Kellems to be examined at the KSP Forensic Laboratory.
Kellems is charged with promoting or procuring the use of a minor by electronic means. The two felony counts could mean up to 10 years in prison.
Kellems was taken to the Webster County Detention Center.
The investigation is continuing.
