Charles Keith “IT” Sherrill, 61 of Murray, KY passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Born November 22, 1964, in Mayfield, KY, he was the son of the late Josephine Sherrill. He worked with CWI in Mayfield as well as worked for farmers across Calloway and Graves County. He attended Second Christian Church in Mayfield, KY.
Those left to cherish memories of Charles include his daughters, Carrie (Juan Perez) Duffy of Murray, KY and Amanda (Joaquin Perez) Duffy of Murray, KY; son, Johnny Duffy of Murray, KY; his precious grandchildren, Jese, Maggie, Orlando, Anita, Rosy, Josie, Jaime, Natalie and Alex; brothers, James Sherrill of Paducah, KY, Joseph Sherrill of Paducah, KY, Carl Flowers of Mayfield, KY and Ronnie Gray of Clinton, KY; and sister, Jean Currin and husband Joe of Dublin, KY.
In addition to his mother, Charles was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Sherrill, Kenneth Sherrill, and George Quincey Sherrill.
A graveside service celebrating Charles’s life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Peaceful Valley Cemetery, Mayfield, KY with Rev. Antonio Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow the service.
Friends may visit with the family after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2026, until 1:00 p.m. at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 South 4th St., Murray, KY.
