Marvin James "Jimmy" Chambers, Jr.

Marvin James “Jimmy” Chambers, Jr., 75 of Murray, KY, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. 
 
Jimmy was born March 19, 1948 at Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago, IL, to the late Marvin James Chambers Sr. and Patricia (Karas) Chambers. He retired from Briggs & Stratton, Inc. in Murray, KY and honorably served his country in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War.
 
Those left behind to cherish memories of Jimmy are his brother, Thomas Chambers (Joyce) of Orland Park, IL, sister, Marlene Randolph of Paducah, KY; and sister-in-law Bonnie Chambers of Almo, KY.  Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 
 
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Chambers.
 
According to his wishes, no local services will be held.  Inurnment with military honors will take place, at a later date, in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
