Nancy C. Thompson

Ms. Nancy Carolyn (Bridges) Thompson, 82 of Murray, KY passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022.
 
Born August 2, 1940 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Devoe and Willie Mae (Pullen) Bridges.  Ms. Thompson was a homemaker and earned a Master of Arts in English degree from Murray State University. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
 
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Becky Waldorf of Murray, KY and Susan C. Tidwell, husband Terrell of Murray, KY; brothers, Larry Bridges of Kettering, OH and Dennis Bridges of Harveysburg, OH; and grandchildren, Matthew “Matt” Evans of Paducah, KY, Lasey Jones of Louisville, KY, Damien Manier of Severn, MD, Dan Manier of Murray, KY, Sarah Tidwell of Murray, KY, and Ramey Thompson, Kamus Thompson, Jamie Thompson all of Cleveland, TN. Also surviving are 15 great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Earl Thompson; two sons, William Eric Thompson and Wayne Eugene Thompson.
 
Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery, Coldwater, KY.
