Wayne Jones

Mr. Clarence Wayne Jones, 87 of Murray, KY, passed away on November 1, 2022, at his home.

Born April 28, 1935 in Marshall Co., KY, he was the son of the late Reggie and Wilma (Jones) Jones. He was a Machinist at the Tappan Stove Company in Murray, KY.  After the closure of Tappan, he worked with Jerry West Used Cars.  Wayne then worked in the Setup department at Fisher-Price Toys, later Mattel, until his retirement. Clarence honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Union Ridge United Methodist Church in Aurora, KY.

Mr. Jones is survived by his daughters Teresa Joyce, husband Charles and Betty Phillips, husband Steve, both of Aurora, KY, and Tammy Hicks, husband Teddy of Murray, KY; sons, Keith Jones and Kenneth Jones, both of Murray, KY; brother, Harold Jones, wife Patricia of Hardin, KY; and sisters, Sue Mitchuson, husband Billy and Pat Pigg, husband Don both of Aurora, KY.  14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Pamela (Outland) Jones; and brothers, Bobbie Jones and R.H. Jones.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, with Rev. Samantha Hall and Bro. Steve Phillips officiating.   Burial with military honors will follow the service in the Union Ridge Cemetery, Aurora, KY.  

Friends may visit with the family after 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 3, 2022 until the service hour at 1:00 p.m., at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S 4^th St. Murray, KY. 42071.
