Danny Keith Hunter

Mr. Danny Keith Hunter, 80, of Salem, KY, passed away August 5, 2026 at his home in Salem. Danny was an elder and member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He founded and operated Hunters Auto Sales and Service for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Hunter; two daughters, Melissa (Troy) Newcomb of Salem, Patricia (Bryan) Atchison of Salem; one son, Bradley (Angela) Hunter of Salem; one brother, Bobby Hunter of Tiline; five grandchildren, Whitney (Connor) Croft of Salem, Daniel (Tiffany) Newcomb of Salem, Hunter (Paige) Atchison of Matton, Lucas Hunter and Ali Berry, both of Salem; great grandchildren, Carter and Presley Tyner and Bentlee Croft; Hazel and Cooper Atchison; and Blake and Bennett Newcomb. Danny was preceded in death by four sisters; four brothers; and his parents, Buel and Clara Adams Hunter. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 2 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
