Debra Jean Thomas

Mrs. Debra Jean Thomas,72, of Marion, passed away 
Friday, July 31, 2026 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Debra found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved camping, boating, and fishing, and could often be found riding her golf cart or visiting with family and friends. Her faithful companion, Tinker Bell, held a special place in her heart and brought her much love and happiness.
She is survived by; her husband of 26 years, Charlie Thomas; daughter, Patti Woodward of Hoover, Al; sons, Greg (Crystal) Carr and Chris (Anna) Carr of Marion, Ky.; brother, Randy Dowdy of Mayfield, Ky; grandchildren, Drake Kemper, Emilee Lady, Tyler Carr, Nathan Sizemore, and Emily Carr; great-grandchildren, Hunter Carr, Matthew Carr, Aaron Prince and Brantley Taylor.
She was preceded in death by; parents, Robert and Wanda Patterson Dowdy, and sister, Sandy Reed.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 1PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Bro. Ross Atwell officiating. 
Friends may visit with the family from 11AM until the funeral hour in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
