Donna Sue Williams

Mrs. Donna Sue Williams, 79, of Carrsville, KY, passed away Sunday morning, June 2, 2024 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services.
Donna was born May 23, 1945 to the late Noble and Helen (Hughes) McDaniel in Marion.  She graduated Marion High School in May of 1963, and soon married the love of her life, Mr. Harley Deon Williams, in July of that same year. Donna and Deon celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary just before Deon’s passing in August of 2023.
Donna retired from Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services after 23 years as ward clerk.  She loved to travel and read, but she most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by two daughters, Debbie (David) Collins of West Paducah and DeAnna (Darrell) McDonald of Carrsville; one son, Darrin (Roseann) Williams of Smithland; seven grandchildren, Darrick Williams of Dawson Springs; Brandon Williams of Smithland; SueAnna Williams of Smithland; Sy Noble McDonald of Carrsville; Eli Harley McDonald of Carrsville; Dawson Collins of West Paducah; Baron Collins of West Paducah; one great granddaughter, Keyle Williams of Dawson Springs; and two special cousins, Vickie Thurman of Elizabethtown, and Saundra Johnson of Louisville; and many other cousin and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harley Dean “Speedy” Williams; and her parents.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 1 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Bro.’s David LeNeave and Darrell McDonald officiating.  Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 11 AM until the funeral hour, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
