George "Frankie" Franklin Henry

Mr. George Franklin “Frankie” Henry, 83, of Salem, KY. passed away Monday, March 30, 2026 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
Frankie was employed by Salem Telephone Company for over 36 years.  After retiring, he began painting along side his good friend, Mike.  Frankie was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a deacon for over 30 of those years.  He loved Kentucky Wildcat basketball, golf, fishing and turkey hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Ann Henry; one daughter, Jolinda Henry of Paducah; sister, Carlin Davidson of Paducah; sister-in-law, Jane Slayden of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
Frankie was preceded in death by one brother, Terry “Moose” Henry; and his parents, George and Ollie James Henry.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 2 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.  Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 12 Noon until the funeral hour, at the funeral home.
