Shelby V Bebout

Shelby V. (Vaughnel) Bebout, 87, of Fredonia, KY, passed away on September 19, 2026, at the Linda E. White Hospice House, Evansville, IN. Born on June 13, 1939 in Marion, KY, Vaughnel will be remembered for her love of God, her family, and her little dog Jazz. She enjoyed tending to her home and yard and spending time with family and friends. Vaughnel is survived by brother Rocky Hornback, son Chris (Karen) Flaherty, daughter- in-law, Lisa Flahardy, stepdaughters Paula Oliver (JC) May, Patricia (Jay) Johns, and Phyllis (Kent) Martin, grandchildren, Bethany Turner, Faith Humphrey, Hope Weber, Kara Gates, Karissa Gates, Patrick Flaherty, Zak Oliver, Darrah Crawford, Damon Brown, Daniel Brown, Chad Faughn, Heath Faughn, Stephanie Nesler, Dallas Bebout, Sydney Jenkins, and several great grandchildren. Vaughnel was preceded in death by husband William Douglas Bebout, son Brian Flahardy, stepson Stephen Bebout, brothers Glen Davidson, Roper Hornback, sisters Jackie Hornback, Linda Ramage, and parents Murray Davidson and Alfreda Hornback. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, 11:00 am (visitation 10:00 am) at Boyd Funeral Home, Salem, KY, with Roger Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Marion, KY. Food and fellowship will follow at Pentecostals of West Kentucky Church, Fredonia, KY.
