Vickie Gail Long

Mrs. Vickie Gail Long, 69, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Vicki worked in food service at Livingston Hospital since 2017.
She loved her grandchildren, flowers, sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Long; daughter, Rebecca (Chucky) Elrod of Barlow, Ky; son, Shawn (Jimmie) Long of Salem; grandchildren, Logan (Courteney) Elrod of Paducah; Austin Elrod of Paducah, Shelby (Colton) Smallwood of Paducah, Klayton Long and Karson Long; great-grandchild Elsie Elrod and a great grandchild on the way, Scottlyn Smallwood; sister, Vonnie Barbarash of St. Louis and brother in law, Mike Nelson of Salem.
Vickie was preceded in death by; parents, Leon  Leonard and Eujana “Pat” Davis; sister Vera Nelson and brother, Jamie Davis. 
 Funeral services will be Friday, July 3, 2026 at 1PM at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
Friends may visit with the family from 11AM to 1PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
