Harold T. Copeland

Mr. Harold T. Copeland, age 89, of Cuba passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, KY.

He was a member of Cuba Baptist Church, a retired farmer and custom fertilizer applicator at Sunwray, and a U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Copeland is survived by one son, Lane (Tess) Copeland of Cuba, KY; one daughter, Lisa A. (Dana) Ballard of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Anthony (Keyra) Ballard, Lance (Samantha) Copeland, Lana Copeland, Miranda Ballard (David) Serra; Brittany (Cody) McClure, Hunter (Jordan) Scott and Morgan Scott; four great grandchildren, Clint Ballard, Aubrey McClure, Hayden Hill and Oaklee Scott; and two great grandchildren on the way.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura McClure Copeland; one brother, Glynn O'Neal Copeland; and his parents, Noble and Lillie Mae "Bill" Yates Copeland.

Funeral services for Mr. Harold T. Copeland will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Cuba Baptist Church.  Bro. Vinnie Jackson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Ballard, Lance Copeland, Hunter Scott, Cody McClure, David Serra and Chris Page.  Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Copeland, Kevin Copeland, Mike Reed and David Wiggins.

Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the church.
