Albert "Jack" Jackson Burton

Albert "Jack" Jackson Burton, 88, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.  

He was born on Sunday, March 27, 1938, in Kuttawa, KY to the late Cynthia Ida (Martin) Burton and the late Willis Lee Burton. Albert worked as a maintenance supervisor at Westlake Monomers up until retirement. He was a proud US Navy veteran.

Albert is survived by his daughter, Sonja Collier of Paducah; two sons, Albert Jeff Burton of Peoria, Illinois and Damon Lee Burton of Eddyville; two sisters, Rose McKinney and Jo Travis both of Kuttawa; six grandchildren, Autumn Keegan, Amanda Tallman, Holly Thompson, Ryan Burton, Austin Burton, and Jacquelyn Burton; as well as five great grandchildren, Owen Thompson, Parker Thompson, Bennett Thompson, Caleb Ehret, and Ellie Tallman.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Virginia Faye (Kenney) Burton; his parents; as well as one sister, Phyllis Burton.
