Amy Peal, age 55, of Calvert City, Kentucky went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Amy was born June 4,1970 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Willard and Brenda (Riddle) Johnson (Jones). Amy was an active member of Altona Baptist Church, where she faithfully played the piano, led young ladies groups, and served in children’s ministries. Along with serving as the Vice President of PT Bottom Line, she was devoted to Saturday Run Club and completed many marathons over her lifetime. She loved reading, cooking, and baking for her family. Most of all, she loved spending time with them.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Gregory Peal of Calvert City, KY, and five daughters, Lauren Midkiff, husband Adam of Cincinnati, OH, Laken Rosing, husband Dillon of Greenfield, IN, Savana Ortiz, husband Jaciel of Calvert City, Emma King, husband Curtis of Calvert City, and Aspen Peal of Calvert City, as well as five adoring grandchildren, Mark Connor Midkiff, Sloane Midkiff, Sean Rosing, Sutton Rosing, and Isabel Ortiz. She is also survived by two brothers, Scott Jones of Paducah, and Scott Johnson (Kim) of Toledo, OH, and a sister, Marcia Jones of Paducah.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Land Between the Lakes.
The visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
