Anna Gay

Anna Gay, 89 of Hardin, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, Kentucky.

Anna was born at home in Hardin, Kentucky on June 11, 1936 to the late Euclid Brown and Odessa Hopkins Brown.  She worked for Jonanthan Creek Water as a bookkeeper and office manager for over 20 years.  Anna was a member of Hardin Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Lea Ann Brandon and husband, Jeff of Benton, KY; two brothers, Glen Brown of Metropolis, IL and Bobby Brown of Hardin, KY; two grandchildren, Tyler Brandon (Tara) of Pennsville, NJ and Seth Brandon (Melanie) of Hardin, KY; four great-grandchildren, Tessa, Anna, Kate and Beau Brandon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Gay; son, James Michael Gay and her parents.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Pace Cemetery, Hardin, KY.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
