Bettye D. Harper

Bettye D. Harper, age 90, of Paducah, KY, died Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Harper was a homemaker and was a member of The Original Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. 

She was the daughter of the late C.S. Devine and the late Lucille (Dezern) Devine. She was also preceded in death by husband:J oe Robert Harper.

She is survived by one daughter; Kim Russell and husband Jeff of Westmoreland, TN; three sons: Jeff Harper and wife Vicky of Benton, KY, Brad Harper of Paducah, KY, Matt Harper and wife Karen of Hickory, KY; one brother: Jerry Devine of Calvert City, KY; one sister: Cindy Devine of Calvert City, KY; eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.  Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with Don Larimer and Mike Pittman officiating. Interment will be at Fooks Cemetery, Benton, KY.
