Brenda Sirls

Brenda Sirls, 78, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Calvert City Convalescent Center.  

Brenda was born on Saturday, August 16, 1947 in Marshall County, Kentucky to the late Aletta (Scillion) Frizzell and the late Arlie Frizzell. Brenda loved to fish, walk, read, and take beach vacations. She was a member of Zion's Cause Baptist Church where she played the piano. She also played for Briensburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bobby Sirls of Benton, KY; sons, Jonathan Sirls (Crystal) of Nashville, TN and Robert Sirls (Tricia) of Nashville, TN; brother, Joel Frizzell of Benton, KY; nieces, Heather Caraway, Holley Sharp, Tammy Haley, and Rhonda Oldham; great nieces, Madisen Frizzell and Kaylin Oldham; great nephews, Noah Caraway, Nick Oldham, and Isaac Sharp; and one great great nephew, Kenny G. Oldham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Gary Frizzell.      

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2026 with Bro. Charles Frazier and Wes Morehead officiating.  Burial will follow in Briensburg Cemetery.
