Candy L. Greene

Candy L. Greene, 70, of Calvert City passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Calvert City Convalescent Center.

She was born on Wednesday, April 25, 1956, in Bangor, Maine to the late Anna Boyce Waite and the late Eugene Waite, Sr. Up until retirement, she worked as a cashier at FiveStar. She was a former member of the Eagles. Candy was a faithful member of Crossroads Methodist Church.

Candy is survived by her husband, James Greene of Calvert City; three daughters, Wendy Godwin (Jeff), Tandra Ramirez, and Julia Poland (Rick); twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Brenda Whichard and Linda Riggan,

She was preceded in death by one son, William Munson; one brother, Eugene Waite, Jr.; one sister, Marie Waite-Tate; and her parents.
Visitation will be held at Crossroads Methodist Church, 10540 US HWY 62, Calvert City, KY 42029 on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

A funeral service will be held at Crossroads Methodist Church on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Chris Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Calvert City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901 or to the NOCC: National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 12221 Merit Drive, Suite 1950, Dallas, TX 75251.
