Carl Boswell

Carl Perkins Boswell, 86, of Palma, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Paducah.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 5, 1937 to George Levi and Pauline Poe Boswell. He worked as a controller at a chemical plant in Calvert City. Carl was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and enjoyed sharing stories about his time in the military. He was of the Baptist faith.

Carl is survived by his companion of 45 years, Linda Draffen Barger of Paducah; one daughter, Brenda Paisley of Ledbetter; two sons, Gene Thomas Boswell of Calvert City and John L. Williams of Tilene; one brother, Donnie Boswell of Hobart, Indiana; his first wife, Ethel Alvey; four grandchildren, Nannette Williams of Paducah, Nickki Williams of Tilene, Crystal Jennings (Tony) of Ledbetter, and Amanda Holt-Elrod (Zach) of Ledbetter; and six great grandchildren, Addison Martin, Riley Martin, Calista Jennings, Nevaeh Jennings, Aniyah Jennings, and Anola Jennings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ronald Boswell; one niece, Debbie Boswell; and one grandson, Daniel Williams.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Marshall County Memory Gardens with Bro. Tony Jennings officiating.
