Carol Knight

Carol Francis Brigman Knight, 83, of Gilbertsville, passed away on June 28, 2025 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Carol was born in Paducah on April 9, 1942 to the late Orville Brigman and Thelma McAllister Brigman. She was a devoted member of Benton First Baptist Church and a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and playing with her beloved dog. Carol kept busy by gardening and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her children, David Knight (Joni) of Gilbertsville and Karen Jones (Jeff) of Gilbertsville; one sister, Barbara Walters (Joe) of Melber; five grandchildren, Dustin Knight (Bethany), Joshua Knight (Jennifer), Kelsey Jones, Karlee Downs (Drew), Bobby Jones; and six great grandchildren, Phoenix Knight, Clara Knight, Izzy Knight, Ada Knight, Nathan Downs, and Everett Downs.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Knight and her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Don Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
