Charles Kendall Hatchett

Charles Kendall Hatchett,  70 of Benton, KY died on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY.

Born Monday, September 24, 1951 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of Wayne Edward Hatchett of Providence, KY and the late Betty Jean (Kendall) Hatchett. He was the husband of Sandra (Clark) Hatchett of Benton, KY.

Mr. Hatchett was a 1969 graduate of Lone Oak High School and attended Paducah Community College. He was the retired owner of Charles K. Hatchett Real Estate and Auction Services. He was of the Christian faith.

Surviving are his wife; his father; son, Matthew Hatchett, wife Candy of Paducah, KY; daughter, Melisa Kraft, husband Steve of Benton, KY; brother, John Hatchett, wife Joy of Nebo, KY; sisters, Mary Downey, husband Rick of Simpsonville, KY and Susan Dutcher, husband Don of Chesterton, IN; grandchildren, Noah Hatchett, Trig Kraft and Aaron Jesy Keys.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Walter Hatchett.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at White Rose Cemetery, Gibson, TN.

No public visitation will be scheduled.
