Charles "Randy" Tidwell

Charles "Randy" Tidwell, 32 of Gilbertsville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Randy was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois on February 1, 1993.   He loved spending time outdoors, on the lake, fishing, camping and working on cars.

He is survived by his mother, April Gossett of Gilbertsville, KY; father, Jamie Tidwell (Cheri) of Bardwell, KY; sister, April Jewell (Bryan) of Benton, KY; brothers, Jacob Jones of Benton, KY, Zachary Jones (Melanie) of Killeen, TX and Nathan Tidwell (girlfriend, Shelee) of Kuttawa, KY; step-sister, Tamisha Quinn; nieces, Kaylee Jewell, Sophie Jewell, Dixie Tidwell; nephews, Matthew Jewell, Jae Ebling, Scott Ebling and Christian Quinn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles & Loretta Gossett and Connie Carr.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
