Craig Copeland

James Craig Copeland, age 66, od Benton, went home to be with the Lord on New Year's Day 2026.

He was greeted there by his mother, Cleo Pace Copeland, and father, James Copeland, who left this Earthly world before him, as well as his older brother, Danny Ray, who died as an infant.

He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and lifelong resident of the Tatumsville community. Craig loved the outdoors, living in the country, hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He had an especially tender heart for children and animals, particularly those in need. 

Now he rests in a perfect place with his loved ones and the Heavenly Father.

He is survived by his brother, Donald and his wife, Lonnie; his aunt, Bobbie, and several cousins. He also leaves his close and loyal circle of dear friends, who are encouraged to remember their good times together and close friendship they shared.

There will be a private graveside service at Stice Cemetery at a later date. No visitation is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to Stice Cemetery Fund, c/o Don Copeland, 2406 Briensburg Tatumsville Rd Benton, KY 42025.
