Curtis Earl Martin

Curtis Earl Martin, 91 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his home.

Curtis was born in Providence, Kentucky on June 24, 1934, he was the son of the late William "Bill" Martin and Anna Lee Wallace Martin.  Before retiring, he was the Director of the Benton Housing Authority.  Curtis enjoyed being outside, hunting, fishing and farming.  He attended New Bethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Kerry Martin (Ann Marie) and Scott Martin, all of Benton, KY; two daughters, Karen Conner (Martin) of Benton, KY and Dyan Henard (John) of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren, Nolan Keathley (Sami), Jamie Rizzo (Tyler), Garrett Keathley (Grace), Hallie Keathley, Kannin Martin, Kelsey Tynes (Gage), Dawson Martin (Ellie), Tanner Martin (Gracie Ray), Avery Henard; five great-grandchildren, Julian Rizzo, Lincoln Rizzo, Roman Rizzo, Trigg Tynes and Sutton Tynes.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ann Avery Duvall Martin; son, Keith Martin; brothers, Charles Martin, Thomas Martin, James Martin and Johnny Martin; sister, Verna Martin; and his parents.

A private family graveside service will be held at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY at a later date.
