David Bloodworth

David Bloodworth, 70 of Hardinsburg, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Lake Barkley Health & Rehab in Kuttawa, Kentucky.

Born Tuesday, March 1, 1955 in Murray, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Samuel  Bloodworth and the late Betty Futrell Bloodworth. He was an operator at PSC in Calvert City, KY.

Surviving are daughters; Allison Bowman (Jason) of Hardinsburg, KY, Amberly Pierce (Rob) of Mayfield, KY and Ashley Phillips (Ryan) of Kuttawa, KY; brother, Glenn Bloodworth (Vicki) of Benton, KY; sisters, Diana Thompson (Larry) of Benton, KY, Violet Moore of Calvert City, KY and Hazel Baird (Tommy) of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Isaac Phillips, Carmen Phillips, Hudson, Phillips, Maddox Phillips, Jayden Bouland, Jaxson Bouland, Jace Bouland, Piper Hawkins, Genesis Bowman and Kal-El Bowman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Street Benton, KY 42025. 270-527-3141.
