David Ford

Mr. David Ford, age 69 of Calvert City, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.

David was born in Paducah on April 20, 1956 to the William Wesley Ford and Bessie Aleen Keeling Ford. He was known for his incredible work ethic, which resulted in a successful career as a self- employed contractor. His nieces and nephews were his true joy in life. David cherished every moment he was able to spend with them, especially days at the family home on Kentucky Lake.

Surviving are his mother, Aleen (Keeling) Ford of Calvert City, KY, brothers, Loyd Ford (Teresa J.) of Calvert City, KY and Lonnie Ford (Teresa A.) of Calvert City, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William "Wesley" Ford.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Steve Freeman and Bro. James Keeling officiating.

Interment will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Collier Funeral Home.
