Diane Norwood

Mrs. Diane Norwood, age 70 of Hardin, KY died on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY.  She was a homemaker and member of Olive Baptist Church.  She also worked in the Marshall County School System for several years.

Born Saturday, June 27, 1953 in Murray, KY, she was the daughter of the late Rufe "Bill" Burkeen Jr. and the late Mary Lee (Wallace) Burkeen. 

Surviving are her husband, Phil Norwood of Hardin, KY, daughters, Ragan Mitchell, husband Eric of Murfreesboro, TN, Vanessa McGregor, husband Josh of Benton, KY, brothers, Larry Burkeen of Murray, KY and Mikeal Burkeen of Murray, KY, sister, Laura Mitchuson of Benton, KY, and grandchildren, Sharon Mitchell, Liam Mitchell, Mia McGregor, and Miles McGregor.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Todd Dodson officiating. 

Interment will follow in Olive Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th Street, Benton, Kentucky, 42025.
