Donna Watkins Ray

Donna Watkins Ray, 78 of Symsonia, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her home.

Donna was born in Mayfield, Kentucky on August 13, 1946 to the late William Woodrow Watkins and Thelma Cole Watkins.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed going camping.  Donna was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Jones; son, William Luther Ray; brother, James Lyndell Watkins, all of Symsonia; eight grandchildren, Haylei, Taylor, Landon, Chase, Jessica, Kelli, Jamie and Makayla; nine great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Brenton, Bailey, Braydin, Tommy, Samuel, Brayden, Braxton and Jaxson; one great, great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James Ray; daughter, April Dawn Ray; two brothers, Danny Gale Watkins and Jerry Duane Watkins; four sisters, Laquetta Hendrickson Watkins, Elizabeth Janette Ray, Glenda Sydboten and Juanita Lambert; and her parents.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Collier Funeral Home & Cremation Services are handling arrangements.
