Dorothy Jean Eizenga

Dorothy Jean Eizenga, 83 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Born Monday, June 7, 1943 in Mayfield, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Knight and the late Imogene Campbell Knight. 

Surviving are son, Tom Dexter (Tonya) of Benton, KY; brother, James Knight of Calvert City, KY; grandchildren, Brandi Breen, Kaleb Edmonson, DJ Voyles and Allison Voyles and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Eizenga; daughter, Charlotte Edmonson; and brothers, Robert Knight, Delbert Knight and Steven Knight.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sammy Cunningham officiating.

Burial to follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
