Eddie Tubbs

Eddie Tubbs, 75 of Benton, KY died on Friday, March 24, 2023, at U of L Health in Louisville, KY.

Born Sunday, July 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Wilburn Tubbs and the late Myrtle (Cornwell) Tubbs Swink. He was the husband of June Walton  Tubbs.

He was a machinist for TVA Shawnee Power Plant and a member of Christian Fellowship Church. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, June (Walton) Tubbs of Benton, KY; son, Bryan Tubbs wife Andrea of Benton, KY; daughter, April Murphy husband Tim of Benton, KY; brothers, Toby Tubbs wife Brenda of Benton, KY, Don Tubbs wife Marla of Benton, KY; grandchildren, RaKeshia Riley husband Daniel, Morgan Sivells husband Cabott, Michael Murphy fiance Danielle, Matt Murphy; and great grandchildren, Annaliese Riley, James Riley, Jackson Riley, Emerson Sivells, Blakelynn Sivells, Owen Sivells and Calvin Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dian Gore.

A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Richie Clendenen and Bro. Scott Wagner officiating. 

Interment will be in Dunn Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home.
