Florence Emily Richardson

Florence Emily Richardson, 90, of Hardin, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, Kentucky.

She was born on Tuesday, October 1, 1935, in New Brunswick, Canada to the late Emily May Roberts Gynane and the late Robert Gynane. Up until retirement, she worked as a store clerk at CVS. Florence was a faithful member of Center Conway Baptist Church, where she continued her commitment to Christ. She didn't travel much, but when she did, she always enjoyed it. She loved to paint due to her love of Bob Ross. Florence loved spending time outdoors, whether it be with her grandchildren and great grandchildren or watching red cars go by.

She is survived by her two daughters, Anne Mousseau (William) of Hardin, KY, and Cheryl Wentworth (Darren) of New Hampshire; two sons, Thomas Richardson (Amanda) of Massachusetts and Steven Richardson (Sheila) of Virginia; as well as 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Richardson, as well as her parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
