Geneva K. Kaus

Geneva K. Kaus, 84, of Hardin, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Geneva was born on Saturday, August 23, 1941 in Rochelle, IL to the late Mable Irene (Cox) Cates and the late Leonard Sylvester Cates. She worked in molding at Mattel Toys. Geneva was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Beasley of Hardin; one son, Steven Leonard Kraft of Benton; one brother, Vernon Cates of Fairfield, Illinois; one sister, Robin Hooper of Fairfield, Illinois; as well as 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by one son, David Paul Kraft; her parents; two brothers, Gary Cates and Leonard Cates; and one sister, Donna Cates. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home.
