Helen "Beth" King

Helen Elizabeth (Beth) King, 74, of Benton, was born December 5, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee and died December 9, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

She moved to Benton, Kentucky with her mother Eris Brown King, father Harold Lloyd King, and brother, Ken King in 1953.  Beth attended Benton Elementary, Middle, and High School graduating in 1969.  She graduated from Murray State College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1974.  Beth worked for forty years at Murray Hospital as a nurse on the "Night Shift" with many wonderful co-workers.  Most of those years as Nurse Supervisor.  She loved water skiing, swimming, growing Jet Star tomatoes, catching rays, and sak-a-laits on Jonathan Creek.  She cherished her dogs Smokey, Tosha, Aggie, Dufus, Bendi, Lulu, Beauty and Millie.
