Howard Wyatt

Howard Wyatt, 64 of Symsonia, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Benton on July 2, 1960 to the late Fulton Wyatt and the late Bertha Howard Wyatt. Howard worked as a machine operator for Wyatt Logging and was a member of Oakland Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and would often spend his free time hunting, fishing, and camping.

He is survived by his wife of 20  years, Sharlet Phelps Wyatt; son, Jason Gilbert of Benton; daughters, Erin Howard of Gilbertsville, Alli Hall of Caruthersville, Missouri and Makenzie Wyatt of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; brother, Royce Wyatt (Linda) of Symsonia; sister, Teresa Cope (Garrie) of Symsonia; and eight grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, Kentucky 42025. Interment will follow at Wallace Cemetery in Benton, KY.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
