Iden Crittendon, 24, of Benton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee after a brief, but brave battle with cancer.

Iden was born in Mayfield on January 30, 2002, to Dustin Crittendon and Melissa Lansberry Kimberlin. He was a 2020 graduate of Marshall County High School. Iden was able to find joy in so many aspects of his life and expressed himself best with various creative outlets. He had a love of music, especially One Direction. Recently, he was able to attend a Giant Rooks concert with his sisters, a memory he truly would cherish. Iden was also a movie buff, his favorite being Hamilton. He will be remembered for his artistic abilities that extended into his love and natural talent of baking. Iden also loved searching for incredible deals on unique finds while thrifting. Though Iden had many interests and hobbies, his true love was for animals. He had three beloved pets that were more like his children- his dog, Boo; his cat, Mike; and his lizard, Pudge.

Iden is survived by his mother, Melissa Kimberlin (John) of Symsonia; his father, Dustin Crittendon (Kelly) of Benton; three sisters, Kynley Buchanan (Evan Brunson) of Mayfield, Gracie Buchanan of Mayfield, and Emma Crittendon of Benton; one niece, Sa'Naya Brunson; paternal grandparents, Dwayne and Tammy Crittendon; several aunts and uncles; many cousins; and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Lori Lansberry.

There will be no funeral services at this time; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
