James Brown

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James Edward Brown, who died on June 4, 2025, in Nashville, TN, at the age of 66. James was born on April 10, 1959.

James had a passion for working with his hands, finding joy in tinkering with cars and motors, and spending time outdoors. He was greatly loved and will always be remembered for his dedication and spirit.

He is survived by his son, James Edward Brown Jr., and his daughter, Heather Marie Brown (Mass.). James is also survived by his brothers, Marvin Gore (Tn.) and Lee Roy Brown (Pa.), and his niece, Linda Rose Adkins (Ga.), along with many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.

James was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kathy Brown, his parents, William and Mamie Brown, and his sister, Susie Buckner.
