Jason Scott Jones

Mr. Jason Scott Jones, 44 of Benton, KY passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Marshall County Hospital, Benton, KY.

Born Sunday, March 27, 1977 in Murray, KY, he was the son of Gary and Susan (Hudgins) Jones of Murray, KY.  He attended Calloway County High School and has worked at Sportable Scoreboards in Murray for the past 20 years, where he made several life long friends. He had a passion for motorcycle riding, nature and spending time with family. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Murray, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Veronica (Dunn) Jones of Murray, KY; sons, Austin Jones fiancé Cassie of Murray, KY, Kaleb Jones of Benton, KY, Bo French wife Arianna of Murray, KY; brother, Chris Jones wife Tiffany of Murray, KY; grandchildren, Zoey Jones, Colten Jones and Hadley French.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Jones.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY with Bro. Sammy Cunningham officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY.
