Jeffrey Scott Hafner 54 of Barlow, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Oakview Nursing and Rehab in Calvert City.
Jeff was born June 13, 1971 in Danville, IL to Michael Lowell Hafner and Glenda Lee Hodge.
He was a Master Captain and a US Merchant Marine. He also worked in construction for many years. Jeff loved the Lord and enjoyed fishing, cheering on the New Orleans Saints, LSU, UK basketball and making people laugh.
He is survived by a daughter, Delaney Rose of Houston, TX, brothers David Hafner (La-Lanea) of Galveston, TX and Ricky Bond of Clinton, KY. Sisters Christine Salo (Bob) of Virginia, April Moll Cassidy of Danville, IL, Aimee Burton (Jeff) of Oakland, MS, Melonie Cawvey (Chris) of Camby, IN, Amanda Walker (Tim) of Barlow, KY, and Jessica Bell (Wesley) of Aurora, KY as well as lots of nieces and nephews, 3 aunts and 3 uncles.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, father, a special brother-in-law, Chris Dyszkewicz, and his Yorkie, Daniel.
