Jerry "Dennis" Speer

Mr. Jerry "Dennis" Speer, age 67 of Benton, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

Born Thursday, May 28, 1959 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Gerald Speer and  Norma Moore Speer.

He was a retired truck driver for UPS.  He loved gardening, flowers, fishing, boating, being on the water, car shows with his 2007 Cobra Mustang, and riding his Harley-Davidson.  He also loved cooking everything and creating his own "concoctions."

 Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Brenda (Lee) Speer, son, Drew Speer (Haley English) of Gilbertsville, KY, daughters, Angie Renn (Joe) of Green Bay, WI and Regina Burnett of Puryear, TN, his mother, Norma Moore Speer of Paducah, KY,  brothers, Sam Speer (Julie) of Paducah, KY and Kyle Speer of Paducah, KY

He was preceded in death by his father.

Private graveside service will be held at Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY.
