Jerry Sue Waldrup

Jerry Sue Waldrup, 84 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.

Born Tuesday, July 29, 1941 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Bookhout and the late Dorlene Smith Bookhout. Jerry Sue was the retired secretary/bookkeeper of the Rolling Hills Nursery. She was a faithful member of the Benton Church of Christ and loved the Lord deeply. She also attended Freed- Hardman University. Jerry Sue was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Rudd (Daren) of Benton, KY; her sisters, Merry Lee Roe of Benton, KY and Penny Hubbard of Wilburton, OK; her brother, Lewis Corlew of Lutz, FL; grandchildren, Britt Holsenback-Rudd, Trevor Feilds, Tiara Powell, Terry Walter, Shane Walter, Brandon Walter, and Justin Walter; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Columbus Waldrup;  her son, Tracy Walter and her daughter, Sherri Keeling.

A graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Fairdealing Church of Christ Cemetery with Mark Ray officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Benton Church of Christ located at 3091 Main Street Benton, KY 42025.
