Joseph "Joe" Copeland

Joseph R. Copeland age 62 of Benton, KY passed away on April 1, 2026 after battling liver cancer. 

Joe was born on January 8, 1964 to the late Oscar Copeland and Margie Clark Copeland. He is survived by two sons, Erik R. Copeland and Landon R. Copeland, along with one granddaughter, Cleo Copeland, a sister, Jennifer Copeland Shaw, a niece, a nephew, two great-nieces, hundreds of friends and his beloved dog, Rosie.

Joe began his long career in sales and service at Twin Lakes Office Products in Murray, KY. He went on to work for several other businesses selling tools and car parts. He formed deep and lasting relationships with his customers.

His greatest accomplishment was being "Dad" to Erik and Landon and "Papaw" to Cleo. Joe had a zest for life, known for his sense of humor and outgoing personality. He loved his family, friends, fishing and spending time outdoors. He also loved and served the Lord at his church, The Way, in Benton, KY.
