June Thompson Parker

June Thompson Parker, 75 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

June was born in Benton, Kentucky on November 8, 1950.  She was the daughter of the late Wilson Hughes Thompson and Frances Clark Thompson.  June worked at Cafe Celebre and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Shawna Wadkins (Roy) of Calvert City, KY; son, Ryan Parker of Benton, KY; two grandchildren, Shelby Bolte (Brock) and Rex Wadkins; two nephews, Brad Burkeen and Dusty Burkeen (Karen).

She was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Cossey and her parents.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Benton Cemetery with Bro. Mike Littrell officiating. 

There will be no public visitation.
