Kenneth Glen Norwood

Kenneth Norwood, 74 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Born Thursday, January 24, 1952 in Murray, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Bobby Norwood and the late Zelma Trimble Norwood. Kenneth retired after 39 years as a chemical operator at  Air Products in Calvert City, KY. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Glenda Cummins Norwood; his sons, Adam Norwood (Stacie) of Benton, KY and Jody Norwood ( Morgan) of Eddyville, KY; brother-in-law, Keith Cummins; grandchildren, Savannah Norwood, Ethan Norwood, Marley Norwood and Ayla Norwood; great grandchildren, Dawson Servicky and Maverick Servicky.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Terry Norwood and Keith Norwood.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 6 PM at the Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Knuckles officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 4PM to 6 PM at Collier Funeral Home and Cremation Services located at 211 West 5th Street Benton, KY 42025. 270-527-3141.
