Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Pollnow, 57 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at his home.
Kenneth was born in Oberlin, Kansas on August 19, 1966. He was a resident of Oberlin KS where he lived with his parents & siblings on the family farm north of Oberlin. His family moved to McCook, NE in 1975. Kenneth Wayne graduated from McCook Sr High School in 1984. Kenneth lived and worked in McCook until 1992, at that time he moved to Craig CO and went to work for a local rancher, also the city of Craig CO and eventually Bower Brothers Construction. He worked as a maintenance laborer for Rail Service Inc. in Calvert City. Kenny loved to listen to music and watch Nascar in his garage while working on his truck and Jeep. He enjoyed spending time farming and Sasquatch hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Paula Pollnow of Benton, KY; three daughters, Paige Quezada (Hugo) of Craig, CO, Phalynn Meeds (Ty) of Denver, CO and Patience Spence (Whitney) of Greenville, KY; one son, Justin Girardot (Stephania) of Pahrump, NV; his mother, Tonee Gringrich of Craig, CO; two brothers, Greg Pollnow (Kristy) of McCook, NE and Christopher Gringrich of Craig, CO; one sister, Gretchen Mack (Jeff) of Dubois, WY; seven grandchildren, Isabella Quezada, Hunter Girardot, Ian Girardot, Whitson Spence, Lucas Quezada, Oliver Spence and Alora Quezada. He is also survived by niece Kelley Phelps Orndoff, (husband Rob Orndoff) and grand niece Adyson Francis Orndoff, of Beulah, CO Nephew Gregor Pollnow of Wichita, KS., niece Amanda Pollnow Richards, (husband Curtis Richards) and grand niece Ellie Richards, and grand niece Sophie Richards of Oberlin, KS
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Hugo & Katherine Pollnow of Oberlin, KS, Maternal Grandparents Antone & Margaret Kline of Hayden CO, his Father Willam Charles Pollnow of McCook NE, his Stepfather John Gingrich of Craig CO, a niece Sarah Katherine Phelps of Dubois, WY, and nephew Chance Russell Phelps of Dubois, WY.
