Kim Phelps

Kim Phelps, age 55, of Benton, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023. 

She was born in Murray on May 27, 1968 to Don Thompson and Carolyn Bloodworth.

Kim worked as a cashier at the Walmart in Murray for many years. She spent her time crafting and selling at craft shows around the area. Kim loved animals and cherished her dogs, that were more like family. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Marcus Phelps of Benton; one daughter, Savannah Wallace (Michael) of Benton; one son, M. Dakota Phelps of Benton; her father, Don Thompson of Benton; one sister, Angie Alexander of California; and one grandchild, Rustin.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Bloodworth; and her step-mother, Victoria Thompson.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home 211 West 5^th Street in Benton. Burial will follow the service at Darnall Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
