Larry Scott Treas

Larry Scott Treas, 88 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, Kentucky.

Born Sunday, September 12, 1937 in Brewers, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Everett Treas and the late Margie Lyles Treas. Larry was born, raised, and lived his entire life on the family farm in the Brewers Community. He was a retired operator at B. F. Goodrich in Calvert City. Larry was a member of the Mount Olive Church of Christ in Golo, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Betty Bussey Treas; his sons, Lindy Scott Treas of Benton, KY and John Everett Treas (Karrie) of Lexington, KY;  daughter, Anita Karen Doom (Vince) of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Gavin, Zach, Samuel, Alyssa (Jamie), Pressley (Cody), Jincey, and Cha'Sed (Kelsey); great grandchildren, Rylie, Alivia, Madison, Oliver, Owen, Trevor, Peyton and Piper.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roche Treas.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Brewers Cemetery with Stacey Smith and Bradley Smith officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Street Benton, KY 42025. 270-527-3141.
